Myanmar is the cradle of ancient tea trees. However, foreigners are prohibited from entering the northern and eastern areas. However, thanks to many years of effort and countless visits, we have managed to establish contacts with a family farm that specializes in processing tea leaves hand-picked from wild trees and shrubs in Shan State. Wild green tea is comparable in quality and taste to Chinese Mao Cha sun-dried.
